Ingredients
4cupsold fashioned oats
1cupsunflower seeds
½cupcoconut oil
½cupbrown sugar
½tspsalt
½tspvanilla powderor 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Stir together the oats and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
Melt the coconut oil and brown sugar in a microwavable bowl by placing in microwave for 1 minute or by heating over low heat in a small pot on the stove.
Stir the salt and vanilla into the coconut oil and brown sugar.
Pour the mixture over the oats, etc.
Stir well to combine.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Dump the oats onto the sheet and spread evenly.
Bake for 10 minutes in pre-heated oven.
Stir and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
The granola will crisp up further as it cools down.
