If you have an hour or two on the weekend to take some time to prep parts of your meals, then you can get dinner on the table so much faster during the week! Here are some meal prep ideas:
1. Chop your veggies
Chop your veggies and then place each meal’s worth of veggies in a ziploc bag.
Spaghetti Bolognese: Dice the onion and the celery. Grate the carrot.
Sundried Tomato and Feta Spinach Salad: Slice the bell peppers.
Creamy Chicken and Zucchini Lasagna: Dice the onion. Chop the spinach. Grate the zucchini.
Creamy Tomato Bean Soup: Dice the onion and the carrot.
2. Prepare your sauces
Sundried Tomato and Feta Spinach Salad: Make the dressing.
Creamy Chicken and Zucchini Lasagna: Make the cottage cheese layer of the lasagna by mixing the cottage cheese, eggs, and parmesan.
3. Prepare your protein
Sundried Tomato and Feta Spinach Salad: Grill and slice the chicken.
Creamy Chicken and Zucchini Lasagna: Cook and dice the chicken.
Creamy Tomato Bean Soup: Cook the pinto beans.
