If you have an hour or two on the weekend to take some time to prep parts of your meals, then you can get dinner on the table so much faster during the week! Here are some meal prep ideas:
1. Chop your veggies
Chop your veggies and then place each meal’s worth of veggies in a ziploc bag.
Sausage Squash and Apples: Slice the onion into large, thick slices. Dice the sweet potato and the butternut squash. Core and dice the apples.
Spinach and Artichoke Quinoa Bake: Ribbon the spinach and dice the artichokes.
Carmelized Apple and Butternut Squash Soup: Slice the butternut squash lengthwise in half. Scoop out the seeds and put aside. Core and slice the apples. Peel and slice the onions.
Turkey Quinoa Chili: Chop the onion and red pepper.
2. Prepare your sauces
Make the sauce for the Spinach and Artichoke Quinoa Bake.
3. Prepare your protein
Slice the chorizo sausage. Cook the navy beans (or chicken) and black beans.
